I'm a reporter-turned-freelance journalist and writer, and a commenter on DailyKos, BlueMassGroup, Firedoglake, Eschaton and MyLeftWing. In addition to my regular writing projects I am currently working on a local blog/podcast (launch date TBA). I'm also coordinating a local nonprofit's FCC application for a new community radio station to be based in our rural New England area.

My Congressional district is MA-02. I am vice-chair of our town Democratic Committee and a member of the town Planning Board and Master Plan Committees. My interests are progressive politics, media and journalism issues/technology, arts and letters, the intersection of government and religion, and urban/suburban sustainability and land use.
